Sims 2 Ultimate Collection Download

Sims 2 complete collection is available on Windows 2014 platform. Here’s how you can play on this platform. 

• The first and foremost thing is to delete all the previous Sims 2 versions, even the registry entries. Also, remove any EA games folder from your documents folder, if you have it and disable your antivirus as well when downloading this collection. 

• Download the Sims 2 collection by clicking on the download link. 

• Extract this downloaded folder to your desktop. 

• You’ll find a “Game Files” folder in this extracted folder, open it and double click on the Setup.exe file. The game would start installing as soon as you click on the install link. 

• Install “dxwebsetup.exe” by navigating to the Redist folder.

• You can now see a Sims 2 icon on the desktop, click on it and select the “run as administrator” option to start the game.

• The Sims 2 game starts automatically when you click on the game or play via Origin since it doesn’t have any launchers.
• The game might take some time to load for the first time, and a black screen might appear, so you’ll have to be patient. Also, it’d skip the intro video as well, but this is all for the first time only. 
• The Origin is required while downloading the game, but after that, you can play it without Origin or any Sims 2 disc. 
• The graphics options in the game allow you to change the intensity of the shadows from low to medium, or else you’d be stuck with a black square underneath your sim’s feet indoors. 
• There are a lot of features offered by Origin where you can chat with other players and enjoy other perks as well.
• You should refer to the Resolution change.txt file in the Game Files folder. If it asks for administrator permission, then move the game to the desktop, run it as administrator and then move it to the original folder again. 
• To start the game for the first time, you need an internet connection because the game includes the SecuRom, and it needs to verify the UC code. Afterwards, you can play it without an internet connection. 
• Since Fun with Pets is the latest and last edition of the Sims 2, the loading screen includes pets. 

To uninstall the collection, navigate to the Control Panel > Programs and Features and uninstall it.
